Veteran actress Holland Taylor has revealed that she and her long-term partner, Sarah Paulson, have no plans to tie the knot, even after nine years of dating.
During a rare conversation about her relationship, the 81-year-old Emmy Award winner explained that a legal contract doesn’t hold the same significance for them as it does for many others.
“I don’t think we’ll get married,” Taylor said. “No, we’ve never talked about it with any interest.”
Taylor, best known for her role as Judge Roberta Kittleson on ABC’s The Practice, went on to say that they prioritize their emotional connection over a legal bond.

When complimented on their loving relationship, Taylor gushed about their strong emotional connection, saying they share a “wonderful resonance” and similar interests.
However, she acknowledged that their 31-year age gap can lead to “big generational differences” that sometimes worry her.
Taylor, who has never been married, said that Paulson is going through emotional experiences that she went through decades ago, adding, “What can I do?”
Paulson has spoken highly of Taylor, calling her the “smartest, wisest, funniest, most extraordinary person” she’s ever met.
