Unveiled: Top Attorney in Brandon McManus S*xual Misconduct Trial Represented Women Charging Fellow NFL Star with Similar Offenses

Tony Buzbee, a lawyer representing two dozen women accusing Deshaun Watson of sexual misconduct, has taken on a new case. Buzbee is now the lead counsel in a civil lawsuit against kicker Brandon McManus and the Jacksonville Jaguars. In a social media post, Buzbee announced that his firm is representing two women who have brought forth allegations of sexual assault against McManus during a flight to London while he was with the Jaguars last year.

Buzbee revealed that they attempted to resolve the matter without litigation but encountered a similar response to the Deshaun Watson cases, with “arrogance, ignorance, and stupidity.” The lawyer emphasized the seriousness of the allegations, stating that they were fully vetted and witnesses were interviewed before taking on the case.

Two women are suing the Jaguars and its former kicker after alleging sexual assault on a team flight to London last year

Two women are suing the Jaguars and its former kicker, Brandon McManus, after alleging sexual assault on a team flight.

According to ESPN, the women, identified as Jane Doe I and Jane Doe II, accuse McManus of inappropriate physical contact and the Jaguars of failing to provide a safe environment. They are seeking over $1 million in damages and have requested a jury trial. In response, McManus’ lawyer, Brett R. Gallaway, called the accusations “absolutely fictitious and demonstrably false,” characterizing them as “an extortion attempt.”

Jaguars coach Doug Pederson expressed disappointment upon learning of the allegations, emphasizing that team flights are meant to be business trips. McManus, a 10-year NFL veteran, signed with the Washington Commanders in March, and the team has stated that they are looking into the situation, taking the allegations seriously.

The Jaguars also acknowledged the significance of the claims, emphasizing their commitment to an organization built on character and class. Meanwhile, Deshaun Watson, who was accused by multiple women of sexual misconduct, was not indicted by a grand jury. He was, however, suspended by the NFL for 11 games and fined $5 million, in addition to undergoing evaluation and treatment.
