Uncovered: Top-Tier Tussle Forecast – Can Gunners Dethrone Citizens?

As the 2024-25 Premier League season approaches, a supercomputer has predicted the final table, and the results are intriguing. With just 32 days until the opening match between Manchester United and Fulham, the excitement is building.

Manchester City, seeking a record-extending fifth consecutive title, are predicted to finish top of the pile with 94 points, three points ahead of last season’s tally. Arsenal, meanwhile, are expected to finish second with 86 points, eight points behind City.

Liverpool, under new manager Arne Slot, are predicted to secure a Champions League spot with 80 points, just two points shy of Jurgen Klopp’s tally in his final term. Manchester United, bolstered by new signings, are expected to finish fourth with 71 points.

The rest of the top six is predicted to consist of Chelsea in fifth with 67 points and Aston Villa in sixth with 65 points. Tottenham, West Ham, Newcastle, and Brentford are expected to battle it out for the remaining European spots, with all four teams predicted to finish on 63, 57, 57, and 57 points, respectively.

The mid-table battle is expected to be fierce, with Crystal Palace predicted to finish 11th with 47 points, followed closely by Bournemouth in 12th with 46 points, and Everton in 13th with 42 points.

At the bottom of the table, Nottingham Forest, Wolves, and Ipswich Town are predicted to struggle, with the trio expected to finish 18th, 19th, and 20th, respectively.
