Jennifer Lopez’s marriage to Ben Affleck may be coming to an end, but it seems one high-profile star is already hoping to catch her eye once she’s single.
According to insiders, rapper Drake is pining for a chance at love with Jennifer, who filed for divorce from her husband of two years on Tuesday.
While Drake won’t make a move until Jennifer’s divorce is finalized, sources claim he’s been dropping hints to friends and influencers that he’s interested in rekindling their romance.

Jennifer and Drake were briefly linked in 2016, and sources claim he believes their previous relationship didn’t get a fair shot.
“Jennifer’s always been one of Drake’s biggest crushes, and he says that what they shared all those years ago was incredible,” the insider explained.
While Jennifer may not be looking to “turn back the clock” by getting back together with an ex, sources claim Drake may have a shot because they never got serious.
And it’s likely Jennifer will have no shortage of eligible bachelors vying for her attention once her divorce is finalized.
“There’s no way she’ll stay single for long,” the insider said. “And a fling with Drake could be really good for her.”
The chart-topping rapper Drake, 37, is pining for a chance at love with Jennifer, a source told In Touch last month. They were briefly linked in 2016
Jennifer and Drake’s brief romance in 2016 was marked by a series of PDA-filled appearances, including a prom-themed party in Las Vegas.
The two were seen dancing and kissing at the event, and were even crowned prom king and queen.
However, their romance fizzled out by March 2017, with Jennifer revealing on The Daily Show that they were no longer together.
Now, as Jennifer prepares to move on from her marriage to Ben, it seems Drake is hoping to get a second chance.
But first, Jennifer will have to navigate the divorce process, which is expected to be complex given the couple’s combined net worth of $640 million.
The two do not have a prenuptial agreement, and insiders claim their negotiations have been “increasingly acrimonious” at times.
Jennifer filed the divorce paperwork herself, waiving spousal support and requesting the court not give Ben any either.
The couple’s divorce marks the end of their two-year marriage, which was marked by a lavish wedding ceremony at Ben’s estate outside of Savannah, Georgia in August 2022.
Jennifer and Ben’s reunion in 2021 came nearly 17 years after they called off their original engagement and postponed their September 2003 wedding.
The couple remained on good terms over the years, and eventually rekindled their romance in April 2021.
They confirmed their relationship on Instagram in July 2021 and made their red carpet return at the 2021 Venice Film Festival.
In April 2022, Jennifer confirmed her engagement to Ben, and the couple exchanged vows at the Little White Chapel in Las Vegas on July 16, 2022.
They again exchanged vows at Ben’s estate outside of Savannah, Georgia on August 20, 2022, two years to the day prior to Jennifer’s divorce filing on Tuesday.
Jennifer has 16-year-old twins, Max and Emme, from her marriage to Marc Anthony, which lasted from 2004 to 2014.
Ben, who was married to Jennifer Garner from 2005 to 2018, has three children with her: 18-year-old Violet, 15-year-old Seraphina, and 12-year-old Samuel.
