Travis Kelce to Win Big at Kids’ Choice Awards Thanks to Swifties’ Votes, Predicts Brother Jason

Travis Kelce has been nominated for the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Award for Favorite Male Athlete, and his brother, Jason Kelce, believes he will win “by a landslide” thanks to the support of Taylor Swift’s fans, affectionately known as “Swifties.”

This nomination marks the first time Kelce has been recognized since his highly publicized relationship with Swift began last September, when she attended a Kansas City Chiefs game against the Chicago Bears.

Jason believes Travis will win by a landslide with Swifties’ support

“Dude, if it’s kids [voting], you’re winning this by a landslide,” Jason said on the latest episode of ‘New Heights.’ “You think so? You think I got the kids on my side?” Travis responded. Jason continued, “My demographic used to be fat, hairy guys. Now, I go out in public, and routinely, 14-year-old little girls are my bread and butter. […] Twelve to 14-year-old girls are like, ‘Oh my God, you’re the brother of Travis who’s dating Taylor Swift!’ So I don’t think there’s a chance in hell that you’re not winning this award if it’s truly chosen by children.”

The award ceremony will take place on July 13, with Kelce going up against notable athletes such as Patrick Mahomes, Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, LeBron James, and Steph Curry. The animated duo of SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star, voiced by Tom Kenny and Bill Fagerbakke, will host the event, just as they did for the Nickelodeon broadcast of the Super Bowl earlier this year.

During that broadcast, a graphic referred to Travis Kelce as “Taylor Swift’s boyfriend” and “good at football.” Kelce himself joked, “I’ll make sure I keep influencing the kids to do the right things in this world.”
