Travis Kelce, the boyfriend of Taylor Swift, was praised by NFL star David Njoku as “the purest dude I’ve ever met” following his attendance at a charity softball event hosted by the Cleveland Browns tight end over the weekend.

Kelce, a former baseball player in his high school days, joined Njoku and other teammates, including Myles Garrett, Nick Chubb, Deshaun Watson, and Amari Cooper, at Classic Park in Eastlake, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland, for the charity game.

Before the main event, Kelce showcased his batting prowess by winning the home run derby, thrilling the hometown crowd with a final swing that secured his victory. He celebrated by flipping his bat and taking a victory lap around the bases.

“He is one of the purest human beings I have ever met in my life. He always means well. Just a great overall dude,” Njoku told reporters after the high-profile local event, expressing his admiration for Kelce.

The three-time Super Bowl champion was seen embracing children from the winning team after receiving a trophy for his impressive batting performance. He adorably addressed a little girl, saying, “What’s up, gorgeous? It’s nice to see you!”

Over the years, Kelce has developed a close relationship with Njoku, who has attended his offseason Tight End University events. Additionally, Kelce has been a long-time supporter of Cleveland’s baseball team, the Guardians, and even threw out an ill-fated ceremonial first pitch last year, spiking the ball like a football.

Meanwhile, his girlfriend, popstar Taylor Swift, is currently in the midst of a series of concerts in Scotland this weekend. She will continue her UK tour with shows in Liverpool and Cardiff before heading to London and Dublin.
