Travis Kelce found himself in an amusing exchange with Jason Sudeikis, who playfully probed the athlete about his intentions to propose to his girlfriend, Taylor Swift. The lighthearted moment occurred during the Big Slick Celebrity Weekend, a charity event held in Kansas City on Saturday night.
Sudeikis, donning a fake mustache, aviator shades, and a cap, initiated the playful banter with Kelce. “Hey Travis, real talk, just the guys here,” he began. With a mischievous glint in his eye, he continued, “Hey… when are you going to make an honest woman out of her?” as he tilted his sunglasses down his nose, referring to the renowned singer-songwriter.

Kelce, a star tight end for the Chiefs, smiled and rubbed his face in response to the unexpected question, but he remained tight-lipped. The audience, however, erupted in cheers, clearly enjoying the playful exchange.
Sudeikis continued his playful ribbing, adding, “Taylor doesn’t need to be working anymore. I know your kicker agrees with me.” This was a subtle jab at Kelce’s teammate, Harrison Butker, who had recently made controversial remarks suggesting female college graduates should focus on being “homemakers” rather than pursuing careers.

The crowd loudly applauded Sudeikis’ witty dig, showing their support for his playful jabs. Earlier in the night, Kelce had shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse of his preparation for the event, hyping himself up in a social media clip. “It’s about to get crazy. This is going to get f***ing crazy. I don’t know what I’m ready for right now, but I’m ready to have some fun,” he enthusiastically declared.

The charity event also saw the presence of Kelce’s teammate, Patrick Mahomes, along with celebrities like Paul Rudd, Fortune Feimster, Eric Stonestreet, and Heidi Gardner, who all came together to show their support for a good cause.
Despite the playful exchange, a source close to Kelce recently revealed that marriage is not on the athlete’s immediate radar. “Travis has no plans on proposing to Taylor,” the insider shared. “It’s not even on his radar. Marriage is something he takes very seriously and not something he would ever just jump into without giving it some careful consideration.”
Another source echoed similar sentiments, stating that while Kelce “cares very deeply” about the award-winning musician, he is not at a place where he is considering popping the question. The couple began their relationship in mid-2023 after the Chiefs player attended one of Swift’s Eras Tour shows.
