Travis and Jason Kelce Announce New Heights Takes a Time Out

The Kelce brothers, Jason and Travis, are temporarily pressing pause on their successful podcast, “New Heights,” as Travis gears up for training camp with the Kansas City Chiefs ahead of the new season.

Since its launch in September 2022, “New Heights” has offered listeners a weekly glimpse into the lives of the brothers, both on and off the football field. The show has garnered a massive following, even being named Podcast of the Year at the iHeartPodcast Awards earlier this year.

While Jason has hung up his cleats and retired from his Hall of Fame career with the Philadelphia Eagles, Travis, 34, is still going strong. He recently signed a new deal with the Chiefs, Super Bowl champions, and will soon be diving into intense preparations for the 2024 season.

“We’re taking a nice little break from podcasting,” Jason shared on Wednesday’s episode. “In three weeks, Travis will be in the thick of training camp, and there just won’t be enough time for a podcast, especially one as great as ours.”

He continued, “He’ll be focused on football and getting into top shape for the upcoming season. So, we’ll be off the air for about two months.”

This isn’t the first time the brothers have taken a hiatus from their show. Last year, they took a shorter break between late July and August 31 as they prepared for the 2023 season.

While they plan to resume “New Heights” toward the end of August, neither they nor their producer has set an exact date for their return. “I’m ready to get back to it once training camp is over,” Travis added.
