Kalvin Phillips Pursued by Trio of Premier League Sides for Loan Deal
Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips is being trailed by three Premier League teams, including Everton, Ipswich Town, and Fulham, with a view to securing a loan deal for the upcoming season.
The 28-year-old has struggled to find his footing at Manchester City since his £42 million transfer from Leeds United two years ago, failing to integrate into Pep Guardiola’s preferred style of play.
Last season, Phillips spent half the campaign on loan at West Ham United, where he saw limited success. He also missed out on a spot in the European Championship.
Phillips did, however, travel with Manchester City to their pre-season tour of the United States, where he played as a central defender in the final two games.

Despite his struggles, Phillips still has four years remaining on his contract with Manchester City.
Everton, Fulham, and Ipswich Town are all interested in bolstering their midfield ranks with Phillips, who impressed as a centre half for City during their pre-season tour.
Phillips’ situation at Manchester City was addressed by Guardiola, who revealed that “Kalvin knows the situation” regarding his place in the squad.
Sean Dyche, Everton’s manager, is a known admirer of Phillips, while Fulham and Ipswich are looking to strengthen their midfield options.
Phillips’ loan move is likely to be finalized in the coming weeks, with the midfielder eager to regain his form and find regular playing time.
