Despite what some might assume, Kelce’s ‘archer’ pose is not a tribute to his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, and her song of the same name. In a previous podcast appearance, Kelce explained that the gesture is inspired by a quote from Deion Sanders, “If your dreams aren’t bigger than you, then there is a problem with your dreams.” With this in mind, Kelce aims to shoot for the stars, both on and off the field.

It’s been a busy offseason for the 34-year-old, who has juggled his football commitments with traveling to see Swift’s Eras Tour, filming a TV show, and recently, a commercial with Olivia Dunne. On top of that, Kelce signed a new two-year, $34 million deal with the Chiefs, solidifying his position as the NFL’s highest-paid tight end.
As the Chiefs prepare for their season opener against the Baltimore Ravens on September 5, Kelce and his teammates are focused on securing another Super Bowl victory. With back-to-back triumphs in 2023 and 2022, the team is determined to make it a three-peat in 2024.
