Chris Hemsworth recently stunned Ed Sheeran fans with an electrifying surprise at the National Arena in Bucharest, Romania.

The 33-year-old singer-songwriter was in the midst of his +–=÷× Tour (aka The Mathematics Tour) when the 40-year-old Thor actor made a sudden appearance on stage.

As Ed began to perform his hit single “Thinking Out Loud,” Chris emerged from the shadows, drumsticks in hand, and joined the singer for an unforgettable performance in front of a packed audience of 70,000 fans.

This impromptu collaboration was filmed for an upcoming episode of Chris‘ National Geographic and Disney+ series Limitless With Chris Hemsworth, set to premiere in 2025.

Following the concert, Ed took to social media to share the backstory behind Chris‘ surprise appearance.

“Chris reached out to me last December, explaining that he was working on a documentary about cognitive health and the benefits of learning a musical instrument,” Ed revealed in a video post. “He even came to visit me and showed off his drumming skills. I was blown away!”

Chris chimed in, “I’ve been thinking about this for a while now. It’s time to put this to rest.”
