Reality TV star Earl Chance Pitt, known for his appearances on Love After Lockup and Life After Lockup, has been arrested in Indiana on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and driving without a valid driver’s license.
The following day, Pitt was hit with a felony domestic battery charge in a neighboring Indiana county.
Disturbing Details of Chance Pitt’s Domestic Battery Arrest
According to a police report, Pitt’s arrest was a result of a disturbing incident involving his girlfriend, Alyssa Moore. A source close to the situation provided additional context leading up to the arrest.
Tayler George, a friend of the couple, had recently kicked them out of her Missouri home. With no vehicle of their own, Tayler lent them her 2017 Chevy Equinox to get to work and back. However, things took a dark turn when Pitt took the car without permission and drove to Ohio, where Alyssa’s mom resides.
Chance’s Joyride Ends in Chaos
During the road trip, Pitt and Alyssa got into an argument, which continued to escalate as they drove through Putnam County. The situation turned violent when Pitt shoved and pushed Alyssa around inside the vehicle before pushing her out of the moving car on a highway on-ramp near a Marathon gas station.
Multiple witnesses reported seeing Alyssa being pushed out of the vehicle, and one 911 caller described her as “walking in traffic.”
Alyssa’s Injuries and Fear
When authorities arrived, they found Alyssa on the side of the road and rushed her to medical attention. She suffered visible road rash on her right hip and arm, rating her pain an 8 out of 10.
According to the police report, Alyssa was “scared and thought she was going to die” during the ordeal. It’s also revealed that this is not the first time Alyssa has been assaulted by Pitt, and she has previously lied to protect him from getting into trouble.
Pitt’s arrest marks a disturbing pattern of behavior, with multiple arrests since last year. However, this is his first arrest related to domestic violence.
