Taylor Swift recently showed her support for two of her friends’ latest projects on Friday. While she has raised eyebrows for not promoting her longtime pal Blake Lively’s new film, It Ends With Us, which features her 2020 track My Tears Ricochet in it, the pop star, 34, sweetly gave Zoe Kravitz a shoutout on her directorial debut, Blink Twice.
Swift praised Kravitz’s new psychological thriller film, co-written with E.T. Feigenbaum, saying it was “incredible, thrilling, twisted, wickedly funny, and visually stunning.” She continued, “The performances are phenomenal. Zoe Kravitz conceptualized this, wrote it, obsessed over every detail, and directed it with such a clear and bold vision. I’m so blown away by what she’s accomplished here and I can’t wait to watch everyone discover this film and this brilliant filmmaker.”
The Fortnight hitmaker also shared a trigger warning for Blink Twice, cautioning her followers that the film contained “mature themes and depictions of violence, including sexual violence.”

The billionaire also fawned over Sabrina Carpenter, who released her sixth album Short ‘n Sweet on Friday. She urged her fans to support Carpenter, saying “Short. Sweet. Has made an extraordinary album. Go support our girl!!”
In addition to sharing a link to purchase Carpenter’s latest record, Swift shared a photo of them together at a Kansas City Chiefs game, cheering on Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and his team as they played against the New York Jets last October.
This is not the first time Swift has shown her support for her friends’ projects. Last month, she promoted Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman’s film Deadpool & Wolverine.

Following her recent posts, many Swifties began to wonder why the superstar has not endorsed or publicly showed her support for Lively’s movie, It Ends With Us. Some fans speculated that Lively may have asked Swift not to promote the film, while others believed that Swift’s team was avoiding any controversy surrounding the movie’s domestic violence theme.
Swift’s silence is unusual, given her close friendship with Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds. The Gossip Girl alum and her husband chose Swift to be their children’s godmother, and Swift has even included the names of Lively and Reynolds’ three eldest children in her track, Betty, off her 2020 album Folklore.
