The daughter of Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith wore a delicate necklace and kept her new dog on a short leash as they explored the lush Malibu hills.

Johnson and Martin have been together for six years and got engaged earlier this year, with the blessing of Martin’s ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow and their kids Apple and Moses.

A source previously revealed that the couple got engaged a while ago and have kept the news private, but are now being open about it with their circles. ‘They have been besotted with each other from day one, so taking this next step was inevitable.’

Johnson was first spotted wearing an emerald ring on her wedding finger at her 34th birthday in LA last October. The Social Network star has also expressed her desire to experience motherhood, saying she’s ‘so open to that’ and wants to ‘experience everything life has to offer.’

‘If that’s meant to happen for me, I’m totally down for it. We’re not here for very long, so if I’m meant to be a mother, bring it on,’ she explained in a recent interview.

Last month, Johnson reunited with her stepfather, actor Antonio Banderas, in Spain. She took the opportunity to visit her former step-father while Martin’s band is touring Europe.

Banderas posted a photo of the two on social media, captioning it ‘Happiness: Dakota in Malaga!’ Johnson has had a close relationship with Banderas most of her life, and has praised him for accepting her and older brother, Alexander.

Banderas and Griffith share daughter Stella, 27. The two have maintained a close bond over the years, and Johnson has spoken highly of her stepfather’s influence on her life.
