Travis Kelce is gearing up for a busy summer as he jets between the US and Europe to support his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, on her highly anticipated Eras Tour. The Kansas City Chiefs star has been devotedly cheering on the pop icon at her sold-out shows across the globe, ever since their romance blossomed nearly a year ago.
With the NFL season looming, the three-time Super Bowl champion faces a challenging juggling act. According to sources, Kelce plans to fly back and forth across the Atlantic while Swift continues her tour, which includes an upcoming performance in Lisbon, Portugal, on Friday.
Travis Kelce is reportedly planning to juggle his time between supporting Taylor Swift and his NFL commitments.
An insider revealed to Us Weekly that Kelce “wants to support her as much as he can” and will be “going back and forth from the US to Europe while he has the time.” The couple has been enjoying a “wonderful time in Europe so far,” and Kelce is making the most of the opportunity to “arrange his schedule to be with” the singer.
During their time together, they also plan to indulge in some antique shopping for the NFL star’s new mansion in Kansas City. As the reigning champions, the Chiefs are set to kick off their quest for an unprecedented Super Bowl three-peat against the Baltimore Ravens on September 5, in a rematch of last season’s AFC Championship game.
Amidst the excitement, there was some confusion regarding Kelce’s attendance at the OTA’s on Monday following his Kelce Jam over the weekend. However, the team later clarified his presence at Monday’s practice via social media.
The tight end recently hung out with Lil’ Wayne, 2 Chainz, and Diplo at his second annual Kelce Jam. On the latest episode of his brother Jason’s podcast, ‘New Heights,’ Kelce shared his thoughts on balancing his commitments: “I wanted to make sure that I showed my face [at practice] after Kelce Jam… It felt really weird, not showing my face and throwing an absolute rager of a party for Kansas City just two days before.”
Taylor Swift paid tribute to the Kansas City Chiefs with her outfit choices during the Eras Tour.
Travis Kelce shared the stage with Lil’ Wayne, 2 Chainz, and Diplo during his Kelce Jam.
Kelce expressed his enthusiasm for reconnecting with his teammates: “I got to say hello to the gang. I got to meet a lot of the rookies for the first time and some of the new players we signed. It was just good to get back in the building and on the practice field… It was fun to get around the guys.”
The 14-time Grammy Award winner, Swift, kicked off the European leg of her Eras Tour in Paris, where she debuted her new Tortured Poets Department section. The ‘era’ includes the song ‘So High School,’ which is rumored to be about Kelce, and Swift also paid tribute to the Chiefs with her outfit choices, sporting their colors throughout the show.
