Luxury jewelry brand Chopard has announced its newest ambassador: 27-year-old supermodel Bella Hadid. Following in the footsteps of Julia Roberts, who started modeling for Chopard in 2021 and even designed a collection for the brand, Bella is thrilled to join the Chopard family.

In a statement, Bella expressed her admiration for Chopard’s craftsmanship, stating, “I have so much appreciation for Chopard’s craftsmanship and have been an admirer of theirs for many years.” Caroline Scheufele, copresident and artistic director of Chopard, praised Bella, saying, “Bella epitomizes the spirit of Chopard: a harmonious mix of effortless elegance and a zest for life that are truly enchanting and perfectly resonate with what our watches and jewelry stand for.”

Bella attended a Chopard dinner in Cannes in May of this year.

Bella has been keeping busy, recently launching her own perfume company, Orebella. She has created three perfumes that moisturize the skin and deliver a long-lasting scent, after previously struggling with irritation issues.

The news comes as Julia Roberts, who was previously the face of Chopard, has lost the title to Bella. Julia, who has starred in films like Pretty Woman, Runaway Bride, and Ticket to Paradise, has been the face of Lancôme since 2009.

Julia has been very active in her film career, with her next project being a body swap comedy for Amazon Studios alongside Jennifer Aniston. The movie, directed by Max Barbakow, was reportedly sold to Amazon Studios after an intense bidding war between four other studios.

Aside from her film projects, Julia recently met Eddie Redmayne, who gushed about meeting the star of his favorite film, Pretty Woman. He told Laverne Cox at the Critics Choice Awards that he was obsessed with Julia Roberts and was thrilled to meet her through their mutual friend, Jessica Chastain.
