Star Striker Eyes Island Switch: Greenwood Poised to Ditch England for Jamaica’s Reggae Beat

Mason Greenwood Set to Switch International Allegiance to Jamaica

Mason Greenwood, the 22-year-old footballer, is reportedly in the process of switching his international allegiance to play for Jamaica under the guidance of Steve McClaren.

This development marks a new chapter for Greenwood, who left his boyhood club Manchester United this summer to join Marseille in a deal worth £27 million.

Greenwood has made only one senior appearance for England, coming on as a late substitute during a UEFA Nations League clash with Iceland in 2020.

According to a report, Jamaica has approached the FA to initiate the process of switching Greenwood’s international registration, which is already underway.
