The New England Patriots are still undecided on their starting quarterback, with rookie sensation Drake Maye and veteran Jacoby Brissett locked in a fierce battle for the top spot.
As the regular season approaches, Maye took to social media to share a simple yet telling message.
He posted a concise “back at it” on his Instagram account, hinting at his unwavering dedication to the game.

Maye, the third overall pick in the 2024 draft, boasts an impressive collegiate resume, having racked up remarkable stats during his two-year stint with the University of North Carolina.
Many believe he could be the catalyst for the Patriots’ resurgence, but for now, he’s still vying for the top quarterback spot.
Brissett, a nine-year NFL veteran, has had his share of success, including a solid performance as a fill-in for the suspended Deshaun Watson with the Cleveland Browns.
Last year, he played three games for the Washington Commanders, completing 18 of 23 passes for 224 yards and three touchdowns.
Given the Patriots’ current prospects, it might be wise to give Maye the nod and focus on building for the future.
However, if any red flags arise, it may be prudent to hold off on making him the starter, perhaps until later in the season.
In Sunday’s loss to the Washington Commanders, Maye showed promise, completing 13 of 20 passes.
