Spurs Snap Up Sizzling Burnley Winger Odobert in £30m Deal, Fifth Summer Signing Unveiled

**Tottenham Complete Signing of Burnley’s Wilson Odobert**

Tottenham have officially announced the signing of Burnley’s young winger, Wilson Odobert, on a five-year deal that will run until 2029. The 19-year-old Frenchman joins Spurs in a deal worth £25m plus £5m in add-ons, despite his market value being around £8.5m.

Odobert has already made 33 appearances for Burnley this season, scoring four goals, including three in the Premier League. His impressive form has caught the attention of Tottenham, who are looking to strengthen their squad amidst several exits and arrivals this summer.

The Frenchman began his senior career with Troyes, making 32 appearances and scoring four goals before joining Burnley. He has also featured for France’s Under 20s, Under 21s, and Under 23s, but has yet to receive a call-up to the senior team.

Burnley’s former manager, Vincent Kompany, has praised Odobert’s abilities, saying, “I will almost refrain from what I really think about him because, at this moment in time, I don’t think people realise how good he is.”

Tottenham have been searching for a young winger, and Odobert’s signing could pave the way for Manor Solomon’s departure on loan. The club has already seen Ryan Sessegnon and Bryan Gil leave, with Sessegnon joining Fulham as a free agent and Gil completing a season-loan switch to LaLiga’s Girona.

Odobert becomes Tottenham’s fifth signing of the season, following Dominic Solanke, Archie Gray, Lucas Bergvall, and Min-hyeok Yang.
