Blake Lively has come out to quash rumors surrounding her marriage to Ryan Reynolds, responding to speculation about a potential split with a witty remark.
The actress, 36, had taken to social media to gush over her husband’s upcoming movie, Deadpool & Wolverine, when a fan decided to comment about divorce rumors.
Lively swiftly shut down the speculation, responding with a laughing emoji and a simple message: “Haha they wish.”
The Gossip Girl alum had initially shared a post expressing her pride in her husband, 47, and his latest film venture. However, one fan still managed to sneak in a comment about the couple’s marriage, stating that they “need to post more of each other” and referencing rumors of a divorce.
Just hours later, Lively and Reynolds, who will be celebrating their 12-year wedding anniversary in September, made a stunning appearance at the star-studded premiere of Deadpool & Wolverine in New York City, where they finally revealed their fourth child’s name.

In her original post, Lively shared a photo of herself sharing a kiss with Reynolds, who was dressed in his titular character’s antihero outfit and costume makeup while filming Deadpool & Wolverine.
She also shared a video showcasing her barefaced beauty and narrating at the beginning: “Tell me Deadpool is married to a millennial girl in real life without telling me.”
After showing a montage of various scenes with Reynolds as Deadpool making a variety of millennial references, she flashed a big smile and said: “I have never felt more seen.”

On Monday evening, the couple attended the New York City premiere of Deadpool & Wolverine, which was held just days ahead of its theatrical release on July 26.
The Marvel movie also stars Leslie Uggams, Emma Corrin, Morena Baccarin, Brianna Hildebrand, Matthew Macfadyen, Tyler Mane, Shioli Kutsuna, T.J. Miller, Aaron Stanford, and more.
Jennifer Garner, 52, will also be reprising her role as Elektra for the star-studded flick.
Ahead of the film’s release, the final movie trailer teased the appearance of Lady Deadpool, which has sparked curiosity about the unmasking of the blonde superhero’s identity.
In the teaser clip, Marvel fans were surprised after seeing a surprise cameo from Dafne Keen as X23.
Since then, many fans have begun speculating that the star playing the female vigilante, the female counterpart to the infamous Deadpool from the alternate reality of Earth-3010, could be Reynolds’ wife or their close family friend, superstar Taylor Swift.
Lively’s upcoming project is romance drama movie, It Ends With Us, which is based on Colleen Hoover’s same-name novel and will be released on August 9.
The flick follows Lively as Lily Bloom, a woman with a heartwrenching childhood gets stuck in a dramatic, toxic love triangle.
According to the logline, “complications arise when a woman’s high school love interest comes back into her life.”
