Manchester City forward Kayky is attracting loan interest from Sparta Rotterdam as he looks to gain more playing experience.
The 21-year-old Brazilian is likely to leave City this summer, either on loan or on a permanent basis, as he is not yet viewed as ready for regular first-team football at the Etihad Stadium.
Kayky joined City from Fluminense in January 2022 and made his debut in a 4-1 win at Swindon in the FA Cup within a week of his arrival. He also made his Premier League bow in a 4-0 victory away at Norwich the following month.
However, he has not played for City’s senior side since then.

Kayky spent the first half of the 2022-23 season on loan at Pacos de Ferreira in Portugal’s Primeira Liga. He later returned to Brazil at the start of 2023 after agreeing to spend a full year on loan at Bahia.
During his loan spell at Bahia, Kayky scored four goals in 28 games and helped the club win the Campeonato Baiano. However, he missed a significant chunk of the season after injuring his anterior cruciate ligament.
He is now fully recovered from that setback and a year in the Eredivisie could provide him the springboard to get his promising career back on track.
Sparta Rotterdam finished eighth in the Netherlands’ top tier last season, and is looking to bolster its squad for the upcoming campaign.
Kayky’s contract with City is not due to expire until June 2026.
