Richard Gere was joined by his son Homer and his glamorous wife Alejandra Silva for amfAR Gala Venezia 2024 on Sunday

Richard and Alejandra, who wed after a two-year romance, are proud parents of two sons, Alexander, five, and James, four.

The actor also shares son Homer with his ex-wife and model Carey Lowell, and chose to name him after his grandfathers, as well as the Tibetan name “Jigme”, which is his middle name.

Richard and Carey were married from 2002 to 2013, and the actor has since moved on to a happy life with Alejandra.

The 81st Venice International Film Festival kicked off with the premiere of Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.

The festival will run until September 7 and feature a star-studded lineup, including George Clooney, Amal Clooney, Brad Pitt, and Angelina Jolie.

Other highly anticipated screenings include Joker: Folie à Deux, starring Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga, and Daniel Craig’s Queer.

Venice regulars Julianne Moore and Tilda Swinton will also be in attendance, promoting Pedro Almodóvar’s English-language debut The Room Next Door, while Nicole Kidman will screen her erotic thriller Babygirl.

The festival will close with Pupi Avati’s The American Backyard.
