Former One Tree Hill star Shantel VanSanten and Hallmark actor Victor Webster have finalized their divorce, which includes a unique arrangement for their pets and a financial settlement.
According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly, VanSanten, known for her roles in The Boys and FBI, and Webster have agreed on a plan for their furry companions following their split. Webster will have primary custody of their dog, Nova, but VanSanten will have extended visitation rights. During her visits, VanSanten is required to provide updates on Nova’s whereabouts, and if she keeps the dog for more than three weeks, she will incur a daily late fee of $10,000.
As for their cats, Finnegan and Phillippa, they are now in the care of Webster’s brother, Vince.

In addition to the pet custody arrangement, VanSanten and Webster have also reached a financial settlement. They agreed to sell their Los Angeles home, with VanSanten paying an additional $25,000 to equalize the split. Neither party will receive spousal support.
The former couple first met in 2017 while filming Love Blossoms and got engaged in February 2021. VanSanten shared the news on Instagram, expressing her excitement and love for Webster. She wrote, “I can’t wait to spend FOR-EV-ER with my best friend!!!! I LOVE YOU.”
The couple went on to have three wedding ceremonies to celebrate their union. They first tied the knot in August 2021, followed by a second ceremony in Napa, California, in October, and a third celebration in VanSanten’s hometown in Minnesota.
In an interview with Brides.com, VanSanten shared the sentimental reason behind their multiple weddings. She explained that after the sudden passing of her grandfather, she wanted to have a spontaneous civil ceremony on her grandparents’ wedding anniversary. “The idea of my grandparents being reunited and watching over our ceremony from above gave me some peace,” she said.
However, their marriage was short-lived. In April 2023, it was confirmed that Webster had filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences and listing their date of separation as January 10, 2023. VanSanten later responded with a request for a “dissolution” of marriage, agreeing with the original date of separation and citing the same reason for the split.
