Royal In-Law Insights: William’s Bond with Kate’s Mum and Dad Unveiled

Prince William’s Unwavering Bond with Kate Middleton’s Parents Revealed

Prince William has forged an unbreakable bond with his wife Kate Middleton’s parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, who have become like a second set of parents to him. According to royal expert Robert Jobson, William has been close to Carole and Michael since the early days of his relationship with Kate.

“[William] was given another family with Carole and Michael Middleton from a very early age,” Jobson explained, adding that Kate’s parents “still stayed very loyal to him” despite some ups and downs in the early days of their relationship. “I think he counts on Carole and Michael very much as his second mom and dad, really.”

Kate Middleton’s family has been an integral part of her life, and her parents have played a significant role in her relationship with Prince William. From the early days of their courtship to their wedding and beyond, Carole and Michael Middleton have been a constant source of support and love for the royal couple.

In his new book, Catherine, the Princess of Wales, Jobson highlights the importance of the Middleton family in William and Kate’s lives, particularly their 2022 move to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor, which is close to Windsor Castle.

The move to Adelaide Cottage has allowed William and Kate to be closer to King Charles III, as well as Carole and Michael Middleton, which has been beneficial for their family.

“That helps an awful lot. I think that she’s very family orientated, always has been,” Jobson explained, adding that Kate’s influence has helped William understand the importance of family.

In his book, Jobson reveals that Kate’s parents have demonstrated the value of a close-knit family unit, which has been instrumental in shaping William’s parenting style.

Like William, Kate has a close relationship with King Charles III, who has referred to her as his “beloved daughter-in-law.”

Jobson writes that Kate has been instrumental in facilitating a close relationship between Charles, William, and their little family, which includes Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

“She’s great at being the hub, the conduit to good relations,” Jobson said of Kate, adding that the Princess of Wales makes sure that Charles gets to see his grandchildren as regularly as possible.
