The cost of a paternity test before the baby is born can range from $500 to $2,000, whereas a post-birth test is significantly more affordable, falling within the $150 to $200 range.
Gypsy Rose had previously claimed that her fiancé, Ken Urker, is the father of her child, but fans have raised questions about the timeline of her pregnancy.
Under Louisiana law, if Gypsy Rose gives birth before her divorce from Ryan is finalized, he would be listed as the father on the birth certificate, unless a paternity test proves otherwise.
This situation bears some resemblance to Kim Kardashian’s experience when she was pregnant with North West, her child with Kanye West, while still legally married to Kris Humphries. Kim and Kris finalized their divorce just weeks before North’s birth, allowing Kanye to be listed as the father.
