Kelly Osbourne, 39, took to Instagram to share an emotional update after her boyfriend, Sid Wilson, 47, was hospitalized for second-degree burns on his face and arms following a bonfire accident at their Iowa farm.
In a heartfelt video, Osbourne showed herself and their 22-month-old son, Sidney, accompanying Wilson in the hospital. “This is why you don’t mess with burn piles,” Osbourne warned. “He literally set himself on fire and exploded everything.”
Wilson shared a separate update from his hospital bed, detailing the extent of his injuries. “Hi everybody, I had an explosion in my face,” Wilson said in a video posted to Instagram. “I’m OK, I’m going to be OK. But I did have some serious burns to my face and my arms.”

Osbourne captioned a second video slide with a speechless emoji, shaking her head at the camera as Sidney played with toys next to his dad’s bed. Wilson is shown with both arms heavily bandaged, tapping at his phone.
Wilson detailed that the accident occurred when he was lighting a burn pile while working on the farm. Despite the severity of his injuries, he plans to return to the stage in time for Slipknot’s next live date on September 1 in Pryor, Oklahoma.
“I’m gonna be alright you guys, and I don’t care what it takes, I will see you on tour … You guys take care of yourself, and I will take better care of myself. I’ll see you soon,” he assured fans.
The band shared a statement Friday night, confirming that despite Wilson’s injuries, they expect him to return to work soon.
