Teresa Giudice is taking the recent criticism in stride and responding with a playful sense of humor. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star recently faced accusations of Photoshopping a social media post, but she’s choosing to laugh along with the comments rather than let them get to her.
On July 6, Giudice shared a series of lighthearted posts on her Instagram Stories, embracing the controversy with a tongue-in-cheek approach. She edited the same photo that sparked the initial accusations, this time placing herself and Real Housewives of Miami star Larsa Pippen in a lobby with a green sofa. Giudice captioned the post, “Loving all the comments lol,” tagging Pippen and adding crying laughing and pink heart emojis for effect.
But that wasn’t all. Giudice also reposted fan-edited photos that poked fun at the situation. In one photo, the duo was humorously placed in front of the colorful Love Island heart walkway, with the caption, “two new bombshells have entered the villa.” Another edit featured the pair in front of the Egyptian pyramids, and a meme placed them alongside The Real Housewives of New York City star Dorinda Medley.
The text on the meme read, “Haters will say it’s Photoshop, but Larsa and Tre are hanging with Dorinda in Blue Stone Manor as we speak,” referencing Medley’s iconic home in the Hamptons.
The Photoshop speculation began when Giudice posted a birthday message for Pippen earlier that day. The photo, which showed the pair posing on a beach in stylish one-piece swimsuits and shades, drew attention for its apparent editing. Fans noticed a strange outline around their bodies, leading to comments like, “What in the Photoshop is happening?” and “Did Helen Keller Photoshop this?”
Despite the critiques, Pippen took the comments in stride, responding to Giudice’s birthday post with, “Love u so much.” She even reposted the tagged photos to her own Instagram Story, adding the crying laughing emoji.
Giudice isn’t the only Real Housewives star to face Photoshop scrutiny. Real Housewives of Orange County alum Jeana Keough also faced gentle teasing over a seemingly edited photo from her own daughter, Kara Keough, who commented, “This ain’t it, sis,” on the altered image.
