Channing Tatum, 44, praised Ryan Reynolds in an Instagram post from Tuesday for supporting him more than almost anyone in Hollywood. He included photos of the two at Comic-Cons nearly a decade apart

In a post filled with mild spoilers, Tatum expressed his gratitude towards Reynolds for helping him revive the X-Men character Gambit, a role he had long coveted.

“I thought I had lost Gambit forever. But he fought for me and Gambit. I will owe him probably forever,” Tatum wrote, emphasizing the significance of Reynolds’ support.

The actor also thanked Deadpool & Wolverine director Shawn Levy, whom he referred to as “Truly such a brilliant creator on every single level.”

Tatum concluded his post by stating that “All things happen for a reason,” and expressed his enthusiasm for the film, calling it “a masterpiece” and “pure bad a** joy.”
