Leny Yoro has revealed Man United’s FA Cup final win helped convince him to join the club

Yoro impressed in his debut for United, as they beat Rangers 2-0 in a friendly on Saturday, and is now travelling with the team for their tour of the United States on Wednesday.

The young defender also admitted that playing in the Premier League was a significant factor in his decision to join Manchester United. “Yeah, for me, this is the biggest championship in the world. For me, the Premier League… this is where the football fully exists. The fans, the level – because the level is crazy there, there is not an easy game – and, for me, the Premier League is the biggest in the world.”

Real Madrid had been favourites to sign Yoro before the defender opted to move to Old Trafford. Liverpool had also been interested but had been of the impression that Yoro would only make a switch to the Santiago Bernabeu.
