Former Bachelorette Rachel Recchia has a message for her haters after being extremely sick for months. During a recent Q&A session on Instagram, a fan expressed their concern for Recchia, saying her comments made them sick, and they hoped she knew how loved and beautiful she was.
In response, Recchia shared screenshots of hurtful remarks she received about her physical appearance. One user wrote, “I always liked that she was gorgeous but more ‘normal’ with healthy curves. She doesn’t look healthy here anymore.” Another added, “Wow, what a change!!! Why??? You were so pretty before!!”
Recchia then shared her side of the story, revealing she had been in the hospital for a bad kidney infection that spread into her back muscles. She was on antibiotics through a picc line for over a month, which made her extremely tired and nauseous, leading to weight loss.
“I am aware I look ‘sick’ because I was sick,” Recchia wrote. “Please be mindful, I love you all.”

In another Instagram Story, Recchia wrote that her arm was just recovering and even doing a follow-up post about her health, revealing she had been sick since March.
