Teresa Giudice and Taylor Swift recently stole the show at Coachella 2024 with their unforgettable encounter in the crowd.
Giudice, 52, exclusively told Us Weekly, “She was such a sweetheart. I became a Swiftie now because of her. I hate to bother anyone, but she was so sweet, and that’s how I am.” The Real Housewives of New Jersey star continued, “Like if anybody ever wants a picture, I’m always nice to them, and she was so sweet. She was so sweet.”
The two stars crossed paths at the annual Indio, California music festival in April, alongside their respective partners Luis “Louie” Ruelas and Travis Kelce. Ruelas, 49, shared a photo of the encounter on Instagram, which quickly went viral.
Giudice recalled the moment, saying, “We were right next to each other at Coachella watching Ice Spice.” She also shared that her RHONJ costar Jennifer Aydin inspired her to approach Swift, saying, “Jennifer loves her, and I’m like, ‘Alright, I’m doing this for Jennifer Aydin.'”
Aside from Swift, Giudice also spotted Justin Bieber and his wife, Hailey Bieber, at Coachella. She gushed, “She’s beautiful, and I love Justin. I love all his music.” However, she didn’t ask them for a picture, explaining, “I was going to ask them for a picture, but I didn’t because, you know, we were all just enjoying the concert.”
While Giudice was thrilled to see the celebrities in attendance, she didn’t get starstruck because only a few individuals could make her tongue-tied. She shared, “I was just on Kelly [Ripa] and Mark [Consuelos]’s show. I know she’s only a year and a half older than me, but I watched Kelly on All My Children and I watched Kelly and Regis.”
In addition to living in the spotlight with many peers, Giudice is basking in newlywed bliss. She married Ruelas in August 2022 and revealed that they’re planning a romantic getaway to Greece, Mykonos, Barcelona, Ibiza, and Bodrum, Turkey, for their anniversary.
“We’re going away, going to Greece and we’re going to Mykonos, Barcelona, Ibiza, and Bodrum, Turkey,” Giudice told Us. “We’ll be gone for about 20 days.”
According to Ruelas, he spent “hours” on the phone with American Express to organize the entire getaway.
