Brittany Cartwright was caught off guard by Lala Kent’s mention of their nanny dispute during the Vanderpump Rules reunion.
The 35-year-old reality star, who was recently fat-shamed by her estranged husband, Jax Taylor, on The Valley season finale, expressed her confusion on their joint Reality Hits podcast.
Cartwright revealed that she and Kent had already made amends and apologized to each other before the reunion taping, leaving her puzzled as to why Kent brought up the issue.
Cartwright, 35, shared her surprise at Kent’s comments during the reunion, especially since they had already resolved their dispute. Kent, 33, who is expecting her second child, expressed her frustration with Cartwright’s timing in addressing the nanny issue.
During the reunion, Kent, who is 33 years old and expecting her second child, recalled how Cartwright had “acted so out of pocket” on the same day as her gender reveal.
Kent explained that Cartwright had texted her mother, questioning her decision to hire their nanny without permission. Kent felt this was inappropriate, especially since Cartwright was in Kentucky with her son, Cruz, at the time.
Cartwright acknowledged her mistake in sending the text on Kent’s special day and apologized for her timing. She clarified that her concern stemmed from the importance of having consistent caregivers for Cruz, given his young age.
Meanwhile, Kent seems to be enjoying her pregnancy journey as she awaits the arrival of her second daughter. She shared several photos on social media, showcasing her growing baby bump and spending quality time with her first daughter, Ocean.
Kent expressed her frustration with Cartwright’s timing in addressing the nanny issue, calling it ‘World War III.’
She also shared updates on her pregnancy journey, including her continued workouts and the use of compression socks to manage water retention.
Cartwright, who shares Cruz with Taylor, acknowledged the challenges of co-parenting and the importance of finding a trusted caregiver for their son.
While the two women had differing perspectives on the nanny dispute, they ultimately resolved their differences and moved forward. Kent is now focused on her pregnancy and spending time with her family, while Cartwright navigates co-parenting and her new life after separating from Taylor.
