Ben Higgins is speaking out about Victoria Fuller‘s new romance with Will Levis, and it’s not because he’s thrilled about it.
On the recent episode of the “Almost Famous” podcast, Ben, 35, expressed his discontent with Victoria’s new beau, citing a very specific reason. “I like Victoria, I do not like her boyfriend,” he said, leaving listeners wondering what could be the cause of his dismay.
It turns out that Ben, who was the Bachelor in 2016, is a die-hard [Indianapolis] Colts fan, and Will, 25, happens to be the quarterback for the Tennessee Titans – the Colts’ division rivals. “He’s a joke,” Ben joked, clearly not amused by the situation. “She could’ve dated anyone else in the NFL, but not the starting quarterback for the Tennessee Titans.”
Rachel Recchia, the guest cohost, playfully suggested that Victoria might be trying to get under Ben’s skin by dating Will. Ben humorously agreed, saying, “I think she thought in her mind, ‘You know what would be really funny? If I found this six-foot-five, 240-pound ripped starting quarterback for the Tennessee Titans somehow attractive, and I started dating him, knowing it would hurt Ben so much.”
Rachel, on the other hand, is thrilled about Victoria’s new romance, even joking that the The Bachelor season 24 alum is in her “cougar era.” Ben, however, isn’t as enthusiastic, quipping that he hopes the couple gets married and Will decides to retire from football early, allowing them to ride off into the sunset together.
Will recently shared a cozy photo with Victoria on his Instagram Story, tagging her in the picture alongside a white heart emoji. Victoria seemingly confirmed their relationship status by reposting the picture to her Instagram Story, captioning it “Life update 🥹❤”.
The news comes months after Victoria’s split from Greg Grippo, which the latter confirmed in April. Victoria broke her silence in May, thanking those who had reached out and been supportive of her during the breakup. “I wish him nothing but the best and can’t wait to see where life takes us,” she wrote.
