Former Love Island U.K. contestants Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague have announced their separation, ending their five-year relationship.

Fury, a professional boxer, took to Instagram to share the news, stating, “I am heartbroken to share that Molly & I have decided to end our relationship.” He expressed gratitude to Hague for making him a father to their daughter, Bambi, and requested privacy for their family during this difficult time.
Hague, also 25, had announced the breakup earlier, saying, “Never in a million years did I think I’d ever have to write this. After five years of being together, I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way.” She thanked those who have supported them throughout their journey and asked for privacy as they navigate this challenging period.
The couple’s romance began in the Love Island U.K. villa in 2019. Fury, a bombshell contestant, was initially drawn to Lucie Donlan before connecting with Hague. They finished the reality show in second place and continued their relationship after the series.
During their relationship, Hague had expressed her confidence in their love, stating, “I do believe we’re soulmates” in a 2021 interview. The couple welcomed their daughter, Bambi, in January 2023 and got engaged in July 2023.
Since the U.K.’s Love Island originally debuted in 2002, several of the reality TV couples have stood the test of time. Love Island follows a different group of singles every season who have to pair off in order to stay in the show’s luxury villa.
Now, as Fury and Hague navigate their separation, they have asked for privacy and respect for their family during this difficult time.
