Machine Gun Kelly admitted that he didn’t understand the impact of these events on his father until he grew older. He recalled how his father would freak out at loud noises, which he initially found embarrassing and frustrating. However, once he learned about his father’s past, he began to empathize with him.
The rapper also opened up about how his father’s childhood experiences affected his own life. He described how he tried to cope with his own traumas by becoming tough and fighting back against negativity. However, he realized that this approach was unsustainable and has since focused on self-improvement.
