Rapper King Harris, 19, is showing signs of growth and maturity, leaving his troubled past behind, according to fans. The young artist’s recent appearance on the “Me & Halo” YouTube series has sparked speculation that he’s turning over a new leaf.
King Harris, son of rapper T.I., joined his father and fellow hip-hop artist 2 Chainz, along with his son Halo, for a candid conversation. The 48-minute sit-down saw King open up about his life, revealing a more mature and responsible side.
When Halo asked King if he pays rent, T.I. chuckled and said, “That was a good question.” King responded, “I was blessed with the ability not to pay rent… But that’s not the goal to not pay rent. The goal is to get your own.”
King’s response impressed fans, who saw it as a sign of his growing maturity. He emphasized the importance of taking responsibility and not relying on others, stating, “You gon’ have to pay something or you gon’ have to do something like responsibility. You gon’ have to pay something.”
Fans who watched the clip were pleasantly surprised by King’s answers. “King done got real humble it seems!! That fake gangsta role seems as if he’s gotten out of it lol,” one user commented.
King’s past claims of growing up on the streets have been a topic of debate, with his parents, T.I. and Xscape singer Tiny, offering a different perspective. The rapper’s public scuffles and negative headlines had raised concerns among onlookers.
In November 2023, King and T.I. were involved in a public disagreement at a Falcons game, which sparked rumors of a falling out between the two. However, T.I. later clarified that the incident was a “bear hug” and not a fight.
T.I. attributed King’s past behavior to his desire to break free from his father’s shadow and dispel rumors that he was “soft” due to his privileged upbringing. The “ATL” lead actor emphasized that King’s persona is genuine and not just for show.
Fans are thrilled to see King’s transformation, with many commenting on the recent clip. “KING IS LOOKING BETTER, SOUNDING BETTER,” one fan wrote, while another added, “King done got real humble it seems.”
Regardless of what triggered King’s change, fans are happy to see a more positive and mature side of the young rapper.
