Tatum plays a NASA official overseeing the Apollo 11 moon landing, while Johansson portrays a marketing executive hired to film the contingency fake moon landing. Their characters clash and flirt as they navigate this unconventional situation.

During an appearance on Monday’s Today show, Johansson gushed about her co-star, saying, “He’s not hard to fall in love with… He’s just very charismatic and absolutely lovable.”

She also revealed that while they had been in two other films together, this was the first time they shared dialogue. Johansson described Tatum as “easygoing” and “professional,” and they quickly formed a bond on set.

Starting July 27, Jost will report live from Teahupo’o, Tahiti, located in French Polynesia. Johansson shared that her husband was particularly excited about this opportunity, given his passion for surfing.

‘When they announced the Paris Olympics, he immediately found out that they were doing the surf competition in Tahiti, which is so cool. He loves to surf, we have a place in Montauk, he’s always out there surfing,’ she told Savannah Guthrie.
