The Punk Rock Icon’s Storage Nightmare
Steve Jones’ Treasured Possessions Stolen
A Multi-Million Dollar Heist
Legendary Sex Pistols guitarist Steve Jones has fallen victim to a brazen theft, with thieves making off with a substantial haul of his iconic guitars and stage outfits from a storage unit in Los Angeles.
According to law enforcement sources and Jones’ representatives, the stolen items are valued at a staggering $7 million. The discovery was made by a member of Jones’ team, who found that dozens of his prized possessions had vanished from the storage unit.

Jones is currently in the UK, where he is performing at a series of benefit concerts to help save the historic Bush Hall venue. Upon his return, he will assess the extent of the theft and attempt to quantify the loss.
As expected, Jones was left reeling upon learning of the theft, which has left him feeling frustrated and disappointed.
The investigation into the theft is ongoing, with the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) working to determine how the thieves gained access to the storage unit. So far, no signs of forced entry have been found, leaving authorities baffled.
The LAPD has launched a burglary investigation, but as yet, no leads have been identified. Jones and his bandmates would likely describe the situation as, well, less than ideal.
