Speaking to Vanity Fair, Demi described her character, saying: “Cami is somebody who is not directly involved in the business but is running their entire life. They’re a couple that built this empire and family together.”
She also praised her co-star, Jon Hamm, quoting him as saying: “I think this might be the first time I’m playing a character who’s actually in a good relationship, where they have real love, commitment, and affection.”
Demi’s character, Cami, is focused on her family and their social standing. The actress explained: “Her focus is her family and their social existence. It’s about navigating the ups and downs of keeping her husband grounded, healthy, and safe.”
The series, created by Taylor Sheridan, known for Yellowstone, features a star-studded cast, including Billy Bob Thornton and Ali Larter.

Demi also expressed her admiration for Taylor Sheridan’s writing, highlighting his ability to create “incredible, complex, dynamic, and delicious women who are powerful, vulnerable, and flawed.”
She further revealed that Sheridan works without a script, instead, presenting his vision to actors and asking them to commit based on that.
The series logline describes Landman as “an upstairs/downstairs story of roughnecks and wildcat billionaires fueling a boom so big, it’s reshaping our climate, economy, and geopolitics.”
The impressive cast includes Michelle Randolph, Jacob Lofland, Kayla Wallace, James Jordan, Mark Collie, and Paulina Chávez.
Additionally, Andy Garcia and Michael Peña will make guest appearances.
Yellowstone, starring Kevin Costner, will conclude its fifth season on November 10
