**Cristiano Ronaldo Scores 899th Career Goal with Stunning Free-Kick**
Cristiano Ronaldo continued his impressive start to the season with a stunning free-kick goal in Al-Nassr’s 3-1 victory over Al Feiha on Tuesday.
The 39-year-old Portuguese forward has now scored in both of Al-Nassr’s Saudi Pro League fixtures this season, cementing his status as one of the greatest players in the history of the sport.
Ronaldo’s first-half free-kick marked the 899th goal of his illustrious career, moving him to within striking distance of the all-time record. The goal was his 64th from a dead ball situation, leaving him just one behind David Beckham’s career total.
However, Ronaldo still has some work to do if he is to surpass Juninho Pernambucano’s record of 77 free-kick goals. The Brazilian legend holds the title as the most prolific player in football history from a dead ball situation.
Ronaldo’s long-time rival Lionel Messi tops the chart for active players, with 65 free-kick goals in his glittering career.
Marcelo Brozovic added Al-Nassr’s third goal before Talisca scored his second of the game in stoppage time to complete the rout.

Ronaldo has expressed his desire to remain at Al-Nassr for the remainder of his career, stating: “I don’t know if I will retire soon, in two or three years… but probably I will retire here at Al Nassr.”
“I’m very happy at this club, I feel good in this country too. I’m happy to play in Saudi Arabia and I want to continue,” he added.
