Sam Asghari Focuses on Career, Not Dating, After Britney Spears Divorce
Sam Asghari is shifting his focus to his acting career, putting dating on the backburner following his divorce from Britney Spears.
In an exclusive interview, Asghari joked about his pet dog, saying, “I’m dating a very high-maintenance girl, and I have to get her nails done and take her to the dog park and feed her good food and get her really nice treats.” He emphasized that his career requires his undivided attention, and he’s pouring his heart and soul into it.
Asghari credited his sisters for inspiring him to work hard and pursue his dreams. He believes his career goals demand 100% of his time and energy, and he’s willing to put in the effort to achieve success.
Asghari’s divorce from Spears was finalized in May 2024, after 14 months of marriage. He reflected on the experience, saying, “When you’re in a relationship or any experiences that are major in your life, you learn so much.”
Asghari is focusing on his acting career, having landed a role in the upcoming film Jackpot. He expressed his excitement about working with big names like Paul Feig, John Cena, Awkwafina, and Simu Liu.
“Coming from a different country, not speaking the language, I always watched action films because that’s what [is translated into] international languages. That’s what resonated to me from childhood,” he shared. “To be part of a movie that’s full of action requires a lot of wrestling and a lot of rehearsing … it’s just exciting to be a part of [the project].”
Jackpot premieres on Thursday, August 15.
