A Fresh Face for Britney Spears’ Biopic?
Why an Unknown Actress Might Be the Best Choice
A Britney Impersonator Weighs In
A renowned Britney Spears impersonator believes that casting a lesser-known actress to play the pop star in the upcoming biopic would be a wise decision.
Allegra DuVal, who has mastered Britney’s moves and has performed as her at various events, including TV shows like FOX’s “I Can See Your Voice,” shared her thoughts.

With Britney having the final say in casting, Allegra suggests that an unknown actress might be a better fit for the role.
According to Allegra, a well-known actress might struggle to convincingly portray Britney, whereas an unknown actress could bring a fresh perspective to the role.

Allegra is not shy about throwing her hat into the ring, highlighting her existing knowledge of Britney’s dance routines and similar physical attributes.
Although she hasn’t been contacted by the biopic’s producers yet, Allegra is open to playing Britney or even serving as a body double if needed.

The biopic, an adaptation of “The Woman in Me,” is being directed by Jon M. Chu and produced by Marc Platt for Universal Pictures.
Felicia Culotta, Britney’s former longtime assistant, has previously suggested Emma Roberts for the role, but Allegra’s proposal offers an intriguing alternative.
