Patriots QB Bailey Zappe & Hannah Wed in Montana

New England Patriots quarterback Bailey Zappe and his fiancée, Hannah, exchanged vows in an intimate outdoor wedding in Montana, just before the start of training camp.

According to The Knot, the couple had a small ceremony with only 30 guests in attendance last Wednesday.

On Monday, the newlyweds shared photos from their special day, showcasing the breathtaking Montana landscapes. The Zappes posed in front of a lake, with mountains and lush greenery providing a picturesque backdrop, before celebrating with close friends and family at the reception.

Speaking to The Knot about their wedding planning, Hannah shared, “We both have very small circles, and we aren’t big partiers.”

She added, “It just didn’t fit our style. So, we sat down and talked to each other and decided to elope with our family.”

Their choice of venue came as no surprise, as the couple are self-proclaimed fans of the TV drama “Yellowstone.” After exchanging vows in a cozy cabin setting, they spent a long weekend enjoying hiking, fishing, and fireworks with their loved ones.

Reflecting on their nuptials, the Zappes told the outlet, “It was such a great way to blend our families.” The couple tied the knot just over a year after announcing their engagement in May 2023.

With a mini honeymoon to Walt Disney World in Florida on the horizon, Zappe is gearing up for a crucial third season in the NFL with the Patriots, who selected him in the fourth round (137th overall) of the 2022 draft.

Zappe began last season as the backup to Mac Jones but soon earned the starting position. His promotion came after a series of disappointing performances by the former first-round pick, which ultimately led to his benching.

The Patriots are entering their first season without Bill Belichick at the helm after a disappointing 4-13 finish last year.

With Jerod Mayo taking over as the new head coach, New England also made significant changes to their quarterback room in March. They traded Mac Jones to Jacksonville for a sixth-round pick, signed veteran Jacoby Brissett in free agency, and selected Drake Maye with the third overall pick in the 2024 Draft.

Additionally, the Patriots drafted Joe Milton III from Tennessee in the sixth round.

While Mayo has expressed his intention to bring all four quarterbacks to training camp, the future of Zappe’s position on the roster remains uncertain.

Despite the competition, Zappe is determined to make the most of his opportunity this season.

“They’ve told all of us that this was going to be a competition,” Zappe said in late May, per the Boston Herald. “Everybody’s going to have an opportunity to go out there and prove that they can be that guy.”

He added, “All four of us are going to do our best to do that, and then whoever gets that job, the other three of us are going to help that guy do whatever he can on the field to win games.”
