Susan Sarandon’s daughter, Eva Amurri, had some choice words for critics who took issue with her wedding dress, which she proudly displayed in a series of Instagram posts following her nuptials.
The 39-year-old actress and lifestyle influencer tied the knot with chef Ian Hock in an intimate ceremony on Saturday, and she looked stunning in a bustier-style gown designed by Kim Kassas.
However, not everyone was a fan of Amurri’s dress choice, with some commenting on the revealing nature of the design. In response, Amurri took to Instagram on Monday to address the criticism head-on, sharing a photo of herself and Hock, along with a close-up of her cleavage, with a tongue-in-cheek caption.
“And to anyone scandalized by my breasts not being ‘put away’… feel free to screenshot this for later,” she wrote, adding a kiss emoji for good measure.
Amurri, who is the daughter of Sarandon and Italian filmmaker Franco Amurri, fell in love with her dress the moment she saw it. “I wanted to feel sexy but elegant, and I think the dress strikes the perfect balance,” she gushed to People. “I love how it has a vintage feel and is ultra-feminine without being overly pouffy.”

Amurri paired the corseted design with a long veil, adding a touch of glamour to her look. For the reception, she changed into a second outfit: a feather-trimmed, lace minidress, also by Kim Kassas, which she paired with custom Nike Air Force Ones embellished with pearls and their wedding date.
The intimate wedding ceremony took place at Windrift Hall in New York’s Hudson Valley, with around 40 guests in attendance, including Amurri’s famous mother, Sarandon, and her ex, Tim Robbins.

Speaking to People, Amurri shared that she and Hock wanted to center their little family unit in the celebration and make it as much about their children as it was about them. “All we really needed was the beautiful atmosphere, our nearest and dearest, and a delicious party,” she said.
The French garden party-themed ceremony featured natural colors, with pops of whimsy in the chamomile flowers and hints of pale green and blue. The couple wrote their own love letters to read as vows, creating a truly intimate and special moment.

Amurri and Hock’s love story began in 2021 when they met at Hock’s restaurant. In a blog post on Happily Eva, Amurri shared that they had an immediate connection and spark, and their relationship blossomed from there. “It was an old-fashioned courtship in a lot of ways,” she wrote.
Amurri is a mother to daughter Marlowe, eight, and sons Major, seven, and Mateo, four, from her previous marriage to former soccer star Kyle Martino. The couple was married from 2011 to 2020.
