A week after Simone’s triumphant performance at the Paris Olympics, Shanon Biles spoke to the media about her daughter’s achievements.
She revealed that she and Simone still don’t communicate, despite having her direct number. Shanon said she’s waiting for Simone to reach out, adding that she’s willing to apologize and make amends.
“I would like to make things right with Simone personally,” Shanon explained. “I would ask her to forgive me and move forward. Let’s put the past behind us and start anew.”
Simone Biles’ Grandparents Raised Her
At just three years old, Simone’s grandparents, Nellie and Ronald, took her in and raised her as their own. Simone’s mother struggled with addiction and other issues, making it difficult for her to care for her children.
Simone’s grandparents became her primary caregivers, providing her with stability and support. They were the ones who helped her develop her passion for gymnastics, which eventually led to her Olympic success.

Now, Shanon is seeking forgiveness and a second chance with her daughter. However, it’s ultimately up to Simone to decide whether to rekindle their relationship.
