Travis Kelce resumed training with the Kansas City Chiefs on Friday, while his partner, Taylor Swift, performed at a sold-out concert in Scotland as part of her highly anticipated Eras Tour.
The mood at the Chiefs’ training camp was somber as the team gathered following the frightening incident involving BJ Thompson, who suffered cardiac arrest during a team meeting on Thursday.
Thompson, 25, is now awake and responsive in the hospital, and the Chiefs canceled their practice on Thursday in light of the concerning events.
Kelce, 34, was spotted alongside Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes in Kansas City on Friday. The team will hold a mandatory minicamp from June 11-13 as they gear up for the upcoming season.
With Kelce’s football commitments ramping up, he will have less time to join Swift on her European tour, which runs through August 20.
