Houston Texans’ Will Anderson Unveils Dramatic 15-Pound Transformation Ahead of New Season

Will Anderson, the defensive end for the Houston Texans, stunned fans with his noticeably bulkier physique during a recent press conference. The 23-year-old revealed that he gained 15 pounds of muscle mass over the offseason, attributing his transformation to a change in diet and workout routine.

Anderson, who felt he was being “tossed around” by other players last season, decided to bulk up to improve his performance on the field. He revealed that he achieved his goal by adding more vegetables to his diet and focusing on single-led lifts, mobility exercises, speed squats, and speed bench in his workouts.

The former Alabama star, who had a successful rookie season with 45 tackles, 7.0 sacks, and a pass deflection, said he wanted to maintain his speed while increasing his strength. “I tried to keep my speed, I did keep my speed. I’m like 263 [pounds] now,” he shared.

Anderson spent time working with Cleveland Browns star Myles Garrett and Texans teammate Danielle Hunter during the offseason. He credited Hunter with encouraging him to eat more greens, which contributed to his dramatic transformation.

The defensive end’s new physique was achieved through his dedication to getting bigger, stronger, and faster. “My whole thing coming into the offseason was to get bigger, stronger, and faster,” Anderson told Forbes. “And I’ve been able to do all those things.”

Anderson’s impressive transformation is a testament to his hard work and commitment to improving his game. With his new physique and improved skills, the Texans star is set to dominate the field in the upcoming season.
