Angelina Jolie has sparked whispers of a blossoming romance with British rapper and political activist Akala, following a recent sighting of the pair leaving a hotel in Venice, Italy together during the Venice International Film Festival.
According to insiders, Jolie, 49, has been casually seeing the journalist and author, 40, for over a year, with the pair reportedly bonding over their shared interests in activism, travel, and learning about different cultures.
Akala, born Kingslee James McLean Daley, started out as a rapper before moving into political activism, endorsing former Labour MP Jeremy Corbyn in the 2017 UK general election. His older sister is also the famous singer and rapper Ms. Dynamite.

Sources close to the situation reveal that Jolie’s attraction to Akala goes beyond the physical, with the actress said to be impressed by the way he interacts with her children.
In addition to Zahara and Shiloh, Angelina and her ex-husband Brad Pitt share sons Maddox, Pax, and 15-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.
Akala joined Jolie and her daughters at the Calabash Literary Festival in Jamaica in May of last year, with an eyewitness describing him as ‘very protective of them as he shepherded them around.’
The pair were also spotted enjoying dinner together in Milan six months later.
