NFL legend Jason Kelce has hung up his boots and is enjoying a well-deserved retirement. The former offensive lineman, known for his formidable stature during his playing days, has embarked on a journey of transformation, shedding a significant amount of weight.
In a recent interview, Kelce shared that he has already lost 18 pounds, down from his playing weight of 295 pounds. He attributes this weight loss to improved health, particularly noting the positive impact on his back and knees. However, the retired athlete is mindful of not taking it too far, aiming for a target weight between 250 and 260 pounds to maintain a proportional physique.

The retired Eagles center shares three daughters with his wife of six years, Kylie
Kelce, a father of three, is married to Kylie, with whom he has four-year-old Wyatt, three-year-old Elliotte, and one-year-old Bennett. Retirement will allow him to spend more quality time with his family, but he’s not completely stepping away from the game. Kelce is joining ESPN’s Monday Night Football crew, a role that will keep him connected to the sport without the physical toll of playing.
During his playing career, Kelce endured numerous injuries, including knee reconstructions, broken toes, and surgeries on his hand and groin. Reflecting on his time in the NFL, he acknowledges that everyone leaves the league with some form of physical impediment, but he considers himself fortunate to still be able to enjoy life fully.
