The Legacy of O.J. Simpson
Ashes to Keepsakes, Dust to Treasured Tokens
… Eternal Remembrance in Jewelry Form
O.J. Simpson’s memory lives on in a unique and intimate way, as his ashes have been transformed into cremation jewelry, now in the possession of his four adult children.
According to the late football legend’s longtime lawyer, Simpson’s remains were cremated in April, and subsequently converted into an assortment of jewelry pieces, with the consent of his children.
While the lawyer declined to specify the exact types of jewelry created, such pieces often take the form of necklaces or bracelets featuring miniature urns as pendants.
The jewelry is now shared among Arnelle, Jason, Sydney, and Justin Simpson, with the lawyer opting not to retain any of the pieces for himself.
The total cost of the process, including cremation, jewelry creation, and death certificates, amounted to $4,243.06.
As previously reported, the lawyer is working to liquidate O.J.’s assets to settle the significant debts he left behind, including the substantial sums owed to the Goldman family.
